It's a legit version I purchased the hard copy at Best Buy (Imagination Studio Suite)Īll Windows updates, graphics card drivers, sony software updates etc etc are updated, as I check quite regularly. This is definitely at the top of the list of Major Changes to the Movie Studio Platinum program and the main reason why existing users of Version 9, 10 or 11 should consider upgrading to Version 12. Something as simple as adding a text zoom in with gaussian blur for a 10 second clip, I experience approx a 5-10fps preview, even when I dramatically lower the preview quality settings, set the application to high priority in my windows task manager, and end all unnecessary process trees like steam, exterior HD driver software, and all that other junk. I can run Black Ops on maxed settings >60fps with FRAPS running on the same HDD yet I cant preview a 10 second clip on this sony software at a reasonable. The problem I'm having is that - as the title mentions - its really laggy, specifically in my previews after adding FX. It's essentially Sony Vegas except it doesn't support GPU acceleration and offers less audio and video tracks.
